Krona Restaurant in Minneapolis

This is a typical hotel bar, but the beer selection is good. Kelly is the man. Not only was he cool about me asking to try a beer before deciding, but he gave me the straight scoop on the menu. There's nothing better than competent staff that won't give patrons he runaround. Kelly was that guy.

Ate there twice. Walleye dinner was very nice. Cheeseburger ordered medium but tasted like it was burnt in a house fire. 5+3/2=4

I enjoyed the chicken quesadilla. The ingredients taste so fresh and delicious.

Food is average drinks are okay, service is great if you have 6 hours to spend there.

Old fries

Great service, but very mediocre food. The fries were stale (on a Saturday at noon). The Caesar steak wrap I ordered was light on sauce, with plenty of steak (almost too much), but the steak was very stringy and tough- hard to bite through. My friend enjoyed his cheeseburger- maybe that's the thing to get there. Decent prices, especially for downtown. Straightforward American cuisine with something for most on the menu. The order-at-the-bar policy (possibly a feature of lunch?) was a bit off-putting, but after that the table service was excellent.

Great bar to hang out waiting for the bus. It's part of the hotel but many regulars and Bob treats everyone like they're VIP.

Great little bar & grill accessed from the Crown Plaza lobby or Northstar building. Friendly staff and a selection of small plates and lighter fare if you want something to snack on with your drink, or full entres if you've more of an appetite.

Worst lunch experience I've ever had. Ordered a burger that took almost an hour to make and it still came out still bloody rare. There's tons of places to eat downtown Minneapolis, so skip this place.

Good friendly service. The food is brought down from the seventh floor kitchen. So, there was a bit of a wait on food. Nothing on the menu stands out. Prices are a bit high but I guess they have to pay the food runner. We ate here because it was convenient. I didn't think this is a family restaurant.

Great staff and great service

Nice place to go if you're staying at the Crowne Plaza. bar was really nice and clean. The bartenders were cool and recommend lots of places to visit.

The food was good it not great. Very nice atmosphere to lounge with friends and have a drink. Staff and management were great. Slow service probably due to Super Bowl crowds. Not rushing to go back but I would.

The spot is fantastic and roomy, the meals was enchanting and the rates were very inexpensive. quickly, productive service and very friendly waiters. I highly recommend this place.

Always love stopping here. Solid happy hour. Awesome staff that has been there forever and enjoy what they do. Bob, Kelly, Kenneth, and Gwen. Great people!

I found that there's not a lot to do in this part of Minneapolis, but Krona was a bright spot. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff each time I went in. Very reasonably priced food and it was quite tasty. Drinks were priced higher than I'm used to, but right on par for the area. At night, this place can get hopping! Much better crowd than your average hotel bar. If you are visiting to go to Target Center or Target Field I suggest you stop in. Great happy hour specials 3 - 6 as well.

I haven't eaten there but it's a cool place for a HH. If the weather is nice you can take your stuff to the elevator and find a nice little park setting on the 7th floor.

It's a bar in a Crown Plaza Hotel, you do the math.

We've been here many times. They usually have pretty good bartenders and service. Tonight.... always makes you wonder when the bartender has to look up making a Manhattan. We'll likely be back.

Finest spot to buy some food when in a hurry. The service is swift, pricing is reasonable, awesome character. Will come visit again
